The Summit Series from Meier's Creek Brewing Company continues its tribute to the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks, each beer crafted to capture the character of its namesake mountain. Our seventh entry is Gray, a hazy NE IPA hopped with Strata. The peak itself, seventh-highest in the Adirondacks, was named by surveyor Verplanck Colvin for Asa Gray, the famed Harvard botanist, making it one of the few High Peaks honoring a scientist, rather than a settler or statesman.
